INJURED SOLDIERS INC

South Lyon, Michigan

In 2019, Operation Injured Soldiers provided 100 events for over 840 disabled veterans to participate in activities such as tethered skydiving; fishing for Muskie, Salmon and Walleye; pheasant, bear, duck, and goose hunting; football, hockey and baseball games, Nascar races, and more. We have found that it is very important to provide a venue that our veterans can be together, doing something they used to love to do, as well as being with other veterans. The friendships that develop during these events, as well as the camaraderie they share, have been consistently reported in their feedback as the most positive aspect of the events. These events provide veterans with opportunities to help and encourage each other, as well as learn from each other’s struggles. The benefit to the veterans is priceless. Please visit our website www.injuredsoldiers.org to learn more about what is happening at OIS and BHE.

Operation Injured Soldiers was founded by a veteran of the war in Iraq, wounded in the line of duty. During his recovery, he dreamed of helping other veterans with disabilities get back to doing the activities they enjoyed before their injury.
Operation Injured Soldiers (OIS) aids in the physical and mental rehabilitation of our injured/combat veterans, by fulfilling the dreams of doing the things they were doing before their injuries. At Operation Injured Soldiers, we offer a variety of opportunities for injured veterans and/or combat veterans and their families.
