A one-day home makeover event creating homes where children and adults are able to live safe, stable and comfortable lives and have the opportunity to succeed.
About the Organization
A Wider Circle has been serving those in furniture poverty for over 20 years through their center located in Silver Springs, Maryland and their Ward 8 Hub in DC. Their core program provides furniture and home furnishing to over 5000 individuals and families each year completely free of charge.
About this Giving Opportunity
Home Reimagined is a one-day event, May 8, that transforms an unfurnished or sparely furnished apartment or house into a fully furnished, professionally designed, functional home for the neighbors we serve. The goal is to transform 35 homes through the magic of a complete home makeover in just one day as expert interior designers and volunteers work tirelessly to reimagine the homes of A Wider Circle clients.
Washington Gas is proud to support Home Reimagined by sponsoring one furnished home, providing energy conservation kits to all 35 homes and committing 20 volunteers for a day of field work.
