About this Giving Opportunity

The first annual Walk For Warriors in 2024 raised $20,000 for Operations Injured Soldiers and a new mental health support division within OIS. This year we hope to raise more than $50,000 to support even more soldiers and their families. Every dollar donated could save a life. 

About Operation Injured Soldiers:

Operation Injured Soldiers is a tax exempt, nonprofit organization founded in 2005. We provide recreational opportunities (free of charge) to wounded military veterans of all eras as a thank you for their service. The events we provide aid in the recovery from physical and emotional injuries sustained during conflict deployments and service to our country.

Get Involved:

To demonstrate our support for this important issue,  Veteran's of SEMCO (VOS) is thrilled to be partnering with Operation Injured Soldier. Hundreds of locals will come together to participate in this run/walk taking place on June 14th, 2025. 4 regional locations will be available for participants to join the walk. Holland, Macomb, Pellston (Brave Hearts Estate), and Marquette. Details on specific trail maps and start locations will be emailed to participants. Volunteers are needed to hand out water, register walkers, and help along the routes.
